Onus's Story

Onus came into our care in March 2024. He has tested positive for FIV which just means his little immune system is not as strong as a normal cat's would be. This also means he would have to be an INDOOR ONLY cat and is reccomended to have normal vet check-ups every 6 months. He would need to go to a home with another FIV+ cat or no other cats at all to not further spread FIV. You may see him batting a toy around or laying in a cat tree. He is coming out of his shell quickly and appreciates lots of pets and affection to continue helping him explore his surroundings with confidence. Onus is a very sweet friendly boy and LOVES other FIV+ kitty friends to keep him company. Ask the staff for more details if you would like to give this little guy a home to cuddle you in! His adoption fee is only $75 and includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, de-worm, flea treatment, and microchip ID. Valley Animal Center's Adoption Policy

Our standard adoption fee is $100 for cats, $120 for kittens, $100 for dogs, and $200 for puppies. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, deworm, flea/tick treatment, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Prior to adoption, every potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption application. The online application button may be located on the right side of this page. Once an application is submitted, an animal care associate will review the application and follow up with the applicant to schedule a private meet-and-greet appointment.
