Oni's Story

Onis in mythology might be fearsome, but this fuzzbutt does not live up to the name! Oni and his littermate brother Taco came into the shelter because their owner was facing financial hardship. They were born into the same home and have been together since, so we plan to keep them together-we tried otherwise until we saw them sleeping in a cuddle puddle! Their previous family writes that they did enjoy playing with one another from time to time-when they weren't being lazy bones. Oni was summarized as loving, loyal, inquisitive, intelligent, but stoic. He's a quieter fellow who likes to be pet and give head butts for ear scratches but doesn't mind keeping his own company if you aren't around.

Oni and Taco lived with cats but did not live with dogs or children. When they were around children, they did alright with them, but the age range of the children wasn't specified. They can reportedly be slower to warm to strangers, so don't let any initial wariness put you off! If you think Oni and Taco would be a fit for your family, come give him some scratches and see if he steals your heart!
