They have not felt comfortable at our busy adoption events, and unfortunately have not “shown well” to potential adopters because they were nervous. Please don’t overlook them though, because they are wonderful cats in the right environment. <br/><br/>Omelette and Muffin would prefer a quieter home with adopters that understand they just need time to adjust. They are independent cats that prefer attention on their level - back and chin scratches are their favorites. While they show their love and appreciation for this type of petting, they are still learning to be comfortable with being picked up. They would do best in a home without small children and with adopters that understand their preferences and will be patient with them. <br/>Give these two sweethearts time and space to get used to a new home, and you will be pleasantly surprised with all the love you will receive in return. Once trust is built, they will follow their new parents around like shadows and chirp happily at them for attention. They love to be loved and are hoping to find adopters that will dote on them! In their foster home, they are constant companions to their foster when she works from home. <br/><br/>Omelette and Muffin are great with other cats and ok with dogs and rabbits. They love to play - chasing string toys and interactive toys are their favorites. They are very attached to each other and enjoy playing and snuggling.
