Olivia's Story

Olivia is a very independent girl ~ 2 years old. She is a very low maintenance cat in terms of upkeep. She can be very vocal, often mewing back when she knows you're talking to her. That said, she's not the kind of cat that mews at all hours - she's happy to keep to herself unless you engage with her first. When you pet her neck she often asks for more if you stop, and she head butts your hand to keep you petting her for more. She often curls her tail like a question mark when being petted and will make biscuits even on a hard surface. She prefers to nap in windowsills or up high places. She's not shy about exploring when she feels safe, and will even check out counter tops. Due to her time outside before her rescue, she has better hunting skills than your average house cat, and should not be permitted around small pets like hamsters, birds, reptiles, or rabbits. She could easily do well in a home as a solo cat, and has slow time adjusting to other adult cats being around. That said she can adjust, it's just a matter of how the two get along like any two cats. She would make a great cat for a working adult(s) as she doesn't mind if she's alone during the day.

If Olivia's sweet face and story have captivated you, please go to https://www.arcrescuetx.com/adopt and fill out a no-obligation adoption inquiry.

Adoptions in the Dallas Metro area.
