Olivia's Story

Olivia is a sweet ~2 year old kitty who had a rough start to life. She was brought in as a stray who had kittens outside - a tiny lady trying to protect her babies while struggling to survive on the streets herself. Both of her kittens have been adopted, but Olivia still remains, waiting for her own happy ending.

Olivia can be shy at first, and is still learning to trust humans. Once she trusts you, she's VERY affectionate! She loves to roll around and show her belly, purr, and headbutt your hand for pets.

She is also very playful! Since she never got to be a carefree kitten on the streets, she's now making up for lost time. She loves toys, all of them, especially spring toys and anything with feathers!

Olivia is looking for a special person who is willing to work with her, go at her pace, and be patient as she continues to learn to fully trust humans. Someone who knows that with some love and understanding, a nervous cat can come out of their shell and thrive. And it's so rewarding to watch!

We believe Olivia would do well with other cats as long as there is a proper slow introduction.

If you're interested in giving sweet Olivia the home she deserves, please reach out to us: friendsofbearcatrescue.org/contact
