Don’t be surprised if you find him happily catching a catnap under your bed or curled up in a quiet, dark corner. He loves having his own safe little hideaways where he can recharge before coming out for affection and companionship.<br/><br/>In his foster home, Oliver has done wonderfully with the resident 8-month-old kitten. With a gradual introduction (and yes, maybe just a tiny bit of hissing at first!), he’s formed an adorable friendship. They’re now the best of buds — playing together, lounging together, and possibly even scheming together from time to time. Despite being the bigger cat, Oliver is wonderfully gentle in his play, showing what a kind and considerate boy he truly is.<br/><br/>He also responds to “Oscar,” so you get two adorable names for the price of one!<br/><br/>Oliver is truly a 10/10 — the kind of cat you can’t help but fall in love with. He would thrive in a patient, loving home that understands a shy start just means an even deeper bond once trust is built. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash).<br/><br/>NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility. <br/><br/>Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved.
