Oliver

OLIVER is a male-neutered medium hair brown tabby cat with white lower face, underbody & paws. He was born about February 2023, then rescued by a kind person in May 2023 as one of a stray cat's litter. He was surrendered to YAPS February 2026 because he's a gentle cat who was being intimidated/bullied by some of the aggressive dozen or so other cats in the owner's home. Oliver has a beautiful coat, & a gentle, loving disposition. We find him to be stressed/insecure by the loss of his prior home, and move to YAPS. Currently he doesn't come to you for affection, but he likes being petted in his resting place. He often "talks" to you with meows as you approach him. Currently he accepts being held for short periods. He gets along well with non-aggressive cats. When adopted into a new home, he should initially be placed in a "safe room" without other cats, allowing him to gradually adjust to his new surroundings at his pace.
