Since then, hes been patiently waiting with multiple other foster cats and is particularly fond of Marmalade - a younger orange female that dotes on him! <br/><br/>Oliver prefers to initiate affection. Try to rush in and he may slip away. Give him space, and he'll reward you by flopping down for pets and purring with abandon. He can be picked up—but only in a way that respects his boundaries: with an arm under his belly and held gently by your side. No hoisting, please. He doesnt enjoy confinement and thrives in calm, open environments. Hes a beta type with other cats—easygoing, gentle, and non-confrontational.<br/><br/>His friendship with the younger, shy orange female foster named Marmalade (also featured on our Petfinder page), often seeks Oliver out for reassurance, and while they dont have to be adopted as a pair, it would be a lovely, heart-warming outcome.
