He was taken in during the cold winter, when he was trapped in a porch he came into to for feeding. Originally vetted as a TNR cat, those plans changed when there was an instinct that he could become a pet cat.<br/><br/>Oliver was very patient over the winter and he slowly grew to trust and crave attention, petting, and interaction.<br/><br/>Oliver has become a super lovey dovey, affectionate cat that craves attention and just loves to be looked after. The temporary situation he is in right has now to keep him apart from a resident dog, as the dog is not cat friendly, so he is in a room, (with a door frame sized cat gate) for his own protection, but he cries to come out into the rest of the house to be more included.<br/>Smaller cat friendly dogs have been brought into his room to see if he is good with dogs and he really welcomes the dogs. He seems to be very good with dogs.<br/><br/>We are looking for a foster home (or adoptive home) that could let Oliver roam the house with freedom and be a normal cat.<br/><br/>He is so sweet and affectionate and just loves to be loved.<br/><br/>Oliver is FIV positive so it will be important that his next home is either as an only cat, or with another FIV positive companion.<br/><br/>We are looking for a foster home and/or an adoptive home. He has not lived with other cats, (he could be introduced as a process) but may thrive with another cat, he seems to seek out the activity of people and animals.
