Oliver's Story

The first thing that you notice about Oliver is his beautiful eyes. He reminds me of a simple kitty needing only love, wet food, treats, and belly rubs. In return, he will give you constant leg rubs and loud purrs. I think sometimes he will start to purr just by calling his name because he knows what is coming next. Yes, he really does come when you call him. He will need a little time to warm up getting used to his new surroundings and new people. He will probably find a chair and hide under it for a little bit of time until he knows that he is safe. He is not a kitty that wants to sit on your lap because he would prefer to be close to you keeping your feet and legs warm by rubbing on them. He also wants to sit by you so that it is easy for you to reach over to love on him and he can sprawl out for you to rub his belly. Oliver would be best in a relaxed home and not one that is chaotic with lots of small children and loud noises. He is not aggressive at all with other kitties – it is actually him that tends to be bullied by the more dominant kitties. This gentle giant would like a forever home.

All of our foster kitties are raised in foster homes, are up to date on vaccines for their size, spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested and microchipped.
Interested in adopting?
