My first owner tried to be careful about how much food he gave me because I tended to overeat, but that is not the case anymore, and sometimes I need to be coaxed to eat. I’m Oliver, a senior boy who lived in my first home for eight years, but in 2023, I was surrendered to Paws and Claws because he could no longer care for me. I was adopted by a nice lady, but now I am here again because her health issues are growing worse, making it difficult to care for me. Her daughter brought me back and said wonderful things about me. At 13 years old, I am not a youngster myself, but I still like toys, and I still love chasing my tail! I am an outgoing, affectionate guy who likes attention and was fond of sleeping with my person. I am declawed on all four paws. I was eating Purina Pro Plan Senior cat food in my home, but since coming to the shelter I have developed a fondness for Fancy Feast Savory Centers canned paté. I’m a wonderful cat who will be a great companion for someone who wants a mature lap cat with lots of personality and charm.
