She is a precious and gentle soul, without a mean bone in her body, but recently one of those bones fractured twice! Poor Olive was found after a suspected hit-by-car. Veterinarian's x-rays and exams confirmed two fractures to her pelvis and she struggled to stand and walk. The foster program quickly became her 'Popeye' - coming to her rescue. She began a four week recovery journey, with cage rest, medication, and constant care. She was very patient and calm, never complaining or crying, just content to sleep in her little cage den, coming out only for meals and litter box, waiting while her body healed. Though a tiny bit shy, as soon as a hand touches her, she turns into a cuddle bug, making biscuits and gushing happiness with the slightest measure of kindness. <br/><br/>Olive is now fully recovered from her injury. She is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, combo tested negative for both FIV/FelV, uses the litter box 100%, easy to clip nails and load into carrier. She would make a perfect addition to anyone's family. Please consider adopting sweet Olive today!<br/><br/>You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash).<br/><br/>NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility. <br/><br/>Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved.
