OLIVE OIL's Story

Pretty OLIVE OIL was a Homeless Mom to be. She was rescued and has had her babies. Now she is ready to become a loving house cat! However, she is very cautious.

She is a Beautiful Calico, who is very shy. She loves quiet attention but will pull back when she has had enough!

As a stray, we do not know how she will be with dogs or children. She is cautious amongst the cats, but not aggressive. She will hide if there is any chaos. She might be ok with a non-aggressive cat or dog, but she will need her own safe space. OLIVE OIL is ok around visitors but will not come out to demand attention. She prefers to stay out of the way and wait for someone to come to her to pet her. She may be ok with older children, as she does not like chaos, but she may never be a playmate. OLIVE OIL may do best as the only pet, in an older home.

OLIVE OIL is cautious here at the shelter, but in a quieter environment, she should regain confidence and become the sweet baby we know she will be. Who knows what she endured as a stray, but she seems so sad. Perhaps you are the one to give her back her trust and confidence!

DOB- 07/22 Entered Shelter-07/24

If you would like to adopt OLIVE OIL, please visit the shelter during Open Hours, Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Saturdays, 10:00am to 1:00pm, or call 231-773-3030 to make an appointment.
