Olive's Story

Hello my furiends! This beautiful grey baby is Olive; she is 3 years and 2 months old and has been in the Scruffy Paws family for 3 years. Ugh. We love her dearly and would miss her terribly at the shelter - those big green eyes always ready to say hello - but Olive deserves to find her furever family. She came to Scruffy along with her brother Popeye - also still at the shelter - as an older feral kitten. Being so young, and rather than TNR them, the Scruffy team felt they could work with them and help them with their socialization skills. A slow process, but much progress has been made over time!

Olive is incredibly sweet and chill; she's an excellent sidekick. She needs patience, love, and someone willing to work with her to gain her trust. Olive would do her best as the only cat and no children, please. She does well with other respectful cats, but she will seek your attention and play if the other cats are away. She prefers to be the center of your attention and get all the pets for herself! Lasers and wand toys are her preferred methods of entertainment, but naps, hammock hang time, and window watching round out her daily activities. Olive is not a fan of being picked up, but that doesn't mean she isn't affectionate! If you are willing to open your heart and your home - Olive is the girl for you! Please note that the adoption fee for Olive has been waived.

Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home.

Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue!
