Okie's Story
Say hello to Okie, a curious and charming boy who was originally found abandoned at the shelter's door but has truly blossomed in his foster home. While in foster, he's shown himself to be a sweet and affectionate cat who loves spending time with his people; whether that's playing fetch, a rousing game of hide and seek, or simply following along to see what's going on. Okie is smart, interactive, and full of personality; he does sometimes get overstimulated and can be a bit mouthy, but he's been working hard on his manners and boundaries and has made wonderful progress. He's actually very good at communicating his needs, which makes him a rewarding companion for someone who understands cat behavior. Okie would do best in a home as your one and only pet and would prefer older children who can understand his overstimulation concerns. He would be an especially great match for someone who is retired or works from home and can enjoy his playful, engaging nature. If adoption isn't in the cards right now, you can still make a difference by clicking the donate button below Okie's profile. It would be pawsitively amazing!
