If you’re looking for a non-destructive cuddle buddy, she’s your match. She adores good scratches, cozy cuddles, and happily settles beside her human as a soft, comforting presence. When the mood strikes, she enjoys chasing a laser toy for a little fun.<br/><br/>Despite changing homes in the past year, Octavia remains incredibly trusting and affectionate. She has kind, expressive green eyes and doesn’t hesitate to greet new people—often asking for pets right away.<br/><br/>Octavia has excellent litter box manners, does well with wet food, and tolerates brushing and even the occasional bath. When she’s had enough attention, she politely lets you know by gently pushing your hand away.<br/><br/>She’s friendly with people and gets along well with other cats—even grumpy ones—and has shown curiosity rather than fear around a dog. Octavia prefers a peaceful home and would do best with older children or adults who respect her space while enjoying her affection.<br/><br/>Octavia is ready to settle into a loving home where she can finally stay for good. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash).<br/><br/>NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility. <br/><br/>Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved.
