OB's Story

Meet Orange Boy, or OB as we now call him. OB is a resilient 5-year-old soul who has officially traded the hardships of street life for a heart of gold. Though he was understandably timid when first rescued, he has blossomed into a deeply loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be your shadow. He is a "velcro cat" at heart, frequently following his favorite humans from room to room and he truly enjoys the affection of being picked up and held. When he isn't supervising your chores, you can find him channeling his kitten-like energy into a feather toy or perched at a window for a marathon session of "Bird TV."<br/><br/>OB is FIV+ and is looking for a stable, indoor-only home where he can be the undisputed king of his castle as the only pet. He requires a calm, cat-experienced environment without children or other animals, where his owners can appreciate his need for a steady routine and recognize the subtle body language of overstimulation. For a patient adopter who understands feline behavior, OB offers the kind of devoted, one-on-one companionship that only a rescued cat can give. He is healthy, neutered, and fully up-to-date on his vaccinations, ready to start his next chapter as your one-and-only.
