Oatmeal's Story

Oatmeal is one special ball of fluff. This boy came to Cameron Animal Hospital with a severe upper respiratory infection that needed months of care. But after a long and arduous fight, he is finally healthy and ready for his forever home.

Oatmeal has some scarring in his tear ducts from his previous infections that causes his eyes to appear watery, but he has fully recovered. He takes vitamins and supplements to keep his eyes healthy. Oatmeal is FeLV/FIV negative. He is neutered. He received his full series of 3 FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines. He has been fecal tested and dewormed. His adoption also includes a test for Feline Bartonella; a microchip; and 30 days of free pet insurance.

Oatmeal is a very smart boy. He loves exploring new places, and playing with new toys. He has figured out how to open his kennel, and he is working on figuring out how to open his buddy's next door. Oatmeal loves human company, and loves to cuddle, be pet, and play. He likes most other cats, and is good with calm dogs. He plays intensely with people and may not be a good fit for children.

Oatmeal with do best with an active family who has lots of time to play with and interact with him to get him the mental stimulation he needs.
Email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information.
