Oaklynn's Story

Oaklynn
DOB: August, 2023

Oaklynn is a quirky, adult girl who was born in August 2023. She has been adopted twice and returned to us twice due to no fault of her own. She has taken it all in stride and grown into a funny, entertaining kitty! She started out as one of a litter of 3 born to a feral mama, and at first she seemed to take on many of her mamas feisty, feral traits. She was very timid and very skeptical. However as time went on, she developed into a purry, cuddly tuxie, rather than the grumbling, spitfire she was in her kittenhood.

She now gets jealous when another household cat is getting pets, and appears like a ninja out of nowhere for her own lap-time cuddles and head-boops. She has the loudest purr in the whole place.

She loves play time, especially when there are new kittens in the house. Zoomies and kitten toys are her favorite!

I am convinced she has a sense of humor. She loves wet food for breakfast and dinner and will meow impatiently when I am too slow. She has a certain place she likes to eat at (under my bed) and will make sure I place her plate exactly where she wants it! She will also stealthily filch everyone else's bowls if they are not fast enough.

This kitty truly is full of joy and will bring life and light to any household. She would do great with another cat, and I think she would especially love a younger cat to play with.

Oaklynn's adoption fee is $50. She is spayed, chipped and UDT on vaccines and available to adopt though SP-SPCA.
Email the SPCA for more info at :
adoptions.spspca@gmail.com to set up a private meeting. Oaklynn’s meet and greets are by appointment only due to her strong feelings about public events, cat carriers, and automobile rides.
