Oakley's Story
On Thanksgiving, Oakley showed up at our volunteer's doorstep out of the blue, and it didn't take long for him to show signs of trust and friendship. The vet estimates he's about five years old - sweet natured, talkative, and eager for affection.

As can be seen by his battle scar on his face, Oakley's street life wasn't the easiest. He was being bullied on the porch by a feral cat and ran off, but the very next morning, he was back again despite the same aggressive cat waiting. His determination showed to us that he was looking for safety and love.

*We only adopt to homes within New Jersey and require that adopters live approximately within one hour of our two home bases in North Bergen and Florham Park. While travel time is a general guideline, applications may still be denied if the distance in miles is too far, even if technically within an hour, due to limitations in transport and post-adoption support.
