O' Malley's Story

Thank you for your interest in adopting O'Malley!

O'Malley lives in a Montevallo area Foster Home. When your application is approved, you speak to the foster family and FaceTime so you can see your pet in real time before setting up a meet and greet.

O'Malley was born the only orange kitten in a litter of flame point Siamese kittens. He's 6 months old and 7 pounds. His white flame point littermates went to their home several weeks ago, but O'Malley has been overlooked because he has been hand shy and didn't want to be picked up or pet.

Once the other kittens went to their homes, O'Malley remained in his foster home with another large adult male cat. O'Malley loved Rocco. When they weren't playing, they were sleeping together. Well, Rocco was also adopted recently, which meant O'Malley is the last man standing.

Now, in a foster home all by himself, still hand shy from people and preferring to keep his distance, O'Malley made a remarkable discovery recently, and it has changed who he is! His Foster Mom found the sweet spot at the base of his tail!!

Not only did that excite him, but it caused him to PURR for the first time in the five months that they've lived together!! Oh that sweet sound we longed for! No longer a hard case that we worried over! The stars aligned and O'Malley is talking and chirping too! We always believed that in a home environment living with people, where he had more attention, that O Malley would excel at being a wonderful friend and companion!! He's ready!

O'Malley has not lived with Dogs so we prefer that he go to a home without dogs or maybe with a small calm dog.

He has not lived with children or be carried by any kids so older children would be best.

O'Malley has perfect litter box manners. He has never marked anywhere. He also loves his cardboard scratchy pads. He eats dry kitten food, and wet food every day.

O'Malley is neutered, with FVRCP and all boosters, combo test negative, microchip, dewormed, and receives parasite prevention. He has always been healthy and his coat is so soft.

$150 adoption fee.

Serious Adopters should fill out the application online.
