O'Connell's Story

Get ready for the adventure of a life time!
Meet O'Connell, the newest swash-buckling rogue to grace the shelter! O'Connell is a 3 year old neutered male Domestic Shorthair cat. He is used to a life of excitement, as he was a wanderer in his past. He came to us as a stray, and we got a tip from some neighbors of his that he used to live in their neighborhood and was known for roaming. Unfortunately his owners never came looking for him, though, so he is searching for a new home base! Even though it seems like O'Connell is used to the outdoor life, he has had no issue adjusting to living inside. He uses his litter box wonderfully, and is one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet. He is so incredibly loving, and just wants to be by your side all the time.
Since O'Connell was a stray, we don't know his whole history. We haven't yet introduced him to any dogs, so we aren't sure how he would be around them. He briefly met another cats and wasn't the hugest fan, while in a short meeting with a young kid he did well with her. We always recommend a meet and greet with the whole family prior to adoption to make sure it's the correct fit.
O'Connell has received his first round of vaccinations and is ready to meet his forever family! If that handsome face looks like the one you've been hunting for, then search no longer - come out and meet him today!
