Nyx's Story

My name is Nyx. I am named after the Greek goddess of the night. I am a very shy kitty and need a home where I can take my time coming out of my shell. New people are intimidating at first but I know they do not mean me any harm. I am becoming more adventurous by the day. I am even spending time with my foster sister and brother and we are getting along great. I need a slow introduction and I will get along with other cats. My favorite pastime is watching the birds through the window or watching TV. I come across as standoffish and I like to pretend I'm more fierce than I am. I assure you that my hiss is all for show. I have made a lot of progress from when I first came to my foster home. I know that with the right setting, I will blossom into a lifelong companion.
