Nyx's Story

dob 7/25/24

Nyx is a sweet, shy, loving girl, generally calm with some fun bouts of amazing athleticism when wand toys are in play. She loves heights and watching the outdoors – cat trees are a must. She loves toy springs/coils and will bat them around. If you throw the spring, she may even bring it back to you, or at least part way. She will be timid and hide at first, but patience will be rewarded as she loves attention and affection, especially head butts from high places like the top of the cat tree. Who could resist her silkiest, soft fur and the cutest little face with a scar on her nose? She'll beg for a belly rub by rolling and twisting but be careful or she’ll roll right off the shelf, cat tree, or lap as she purrs for pets – silly girl! She’s also a good cuddly bed buddy, sometimes bringing a toy along. The perfect mix of zoomies and snoozies!

Nyx and her sister Nisa were adopted early in 2025 but were recently returned. Their owner loves them but couldn't resolve the conflict with one other cat in the home, even after many attempts but they did well with the other kitty. Nisa and Nyx are a matching, bonded duo. They are vocal girls happy to chat with you in a variety of trills and expressions, and together will be wonderful companions in their furever home! Please check Nisa's page too. Their foster family welcomes home visits to meet the girls.

If you are interested in adopting this TC Paw cat or would like to set up a meet-and-greet, please complete the

Pre-adoption Application

.
