Nutcracker's Story

Nutcracker is a big, handsome orange-and-white boy with a heart that's far gentler than the life he's lived. At 9 years old, he has survived life on the streets, seen the worst of humans, and come through it all still kind, loving, and deeply affectionate. From his years of fighting to survive, Nutcracker is FIV positive-but that past has not defined his spirit.

He is an absolute lovey. Nutcracker lives for chin scratches, leans in for head bumps, and truly just wants to be close to his people. He seems ok with other cats, though because he is FIV positive, proper introductions and precautions are important. No dogs, please-but kids are ok with this sweet boy.

Nutcracker is a big guy with an even bigger heart. He's ready to leave survival behind and finally experience the best of humanity: a safe home, gentle hands, and unconditional love. All this boy needs is love-and he will give it right back. All RCCR kitties are started on vaccines, microchipped, fixed, and de-wormed. We recommend adopting kittens in pairs-they learn, play, and grow best with a buddy! Plus, we offer a discounted adoption fee: $125 for one or $200 for a pair. Our volunteer team reviews each application, so please allow up to a week for a response. Thank you for your patience
