Nugget was born early May 2025 and was brought to the shelter with his siblings shortly after along with his mother, Hope. Nugget is so friendly that he has zero understanding of personal space - he wants to be part of your every task and would make an excellent supervisor - he's a funny and sweet guy who is very eager to find a new home with other cats or would love to take along a shelter friend or sibling. He gets along great with the other cats in the cat room, but would really love a Home of his own for the Holidays.<br/><br/>All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org<br/><br/>When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.<br/><br/>Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.<br/><br/>If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes.
