Baxter's Story
1-year-old Baxter was found as a stray and brought to us by one of our rescuers. He has been a bit nervous with our staff and volunteers so he is looking for a home where he is given plenty of time to settle in. He previously lived in a foster home with other cats, so he may benefit from a home with a confident, social feline friend to show him the ropes.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
