Nubbins's Story

Nubbins is a very silly and interesting girl. She was originally found in a cat colony and after some time of gaining her trust we were able to bring her to the shelter. We discovered that she was pregnant and due any day!

Sadly, her kittens didn't make it, and she was left without purpose.... UNTIL some kittens whose mama never came back for them and needed a new mom joined our program! Nubbins quickly took responsibility for them and was the most nurturing mom and raised them as her own.

Now that all of her children are grown, she is seeking all the attention from humans and is enjoying her independence again! She is incredibly sweet and goofy and loves to play and summersault around! She can sometimes get overstimulated and bat at people but immediately moves on to playing again.

All her time as a colony cat is slowly working its way out of her system and she is enjoying being an indoor kitty more and more, but it is still a work in progress, and she still has some quirks.

Ideally, a home with an experienced cat owner would be best suited for Nubbins! She would love to be the only cat in the home as well!
