Nox's Story
Meet Nox!

Nox is pure kitten joy in motion—bounding, pouncing, and exploring everything with that irresistible kitten enthusiasm. This little one brings entertainment daily with playful antics that'll keep you smiling.
One of Nox's most endearing quirks? The "mock hiss." It's all show, no substance—think of it as kitten trash talk. It's just a sign of a young cat who's learning to communicate.

Mealtime reveals Nox's sweetest side: happy purrs accompany every bite, showing pure contentment with food. While Nox hasn't quite discovered the joy of purring during pets yet, this is completely normal for young kittens still learning to trust and bond. The petting purrs are just waiting to emerge once Nox feels truly at home.

Nox is living alone after his brothers were adopted, but must have another cat/kitten in the adoptive home. He is currently living at Petsmart, Village Crossing on Touhy Ave, Skokie

Nox is a male shorthaired dark grey & white tabby kitten who is about 2 months old as of January. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped.

He is looking for a forever home that is willing to foster to adopt until he is old enough to be fixed. Foster to adopt means, he will be living with you and you will be responsible for him (including financially) but the adoption will not be finalized until he is fixed. That usually happens around 6 months depending on what the vet says.

Nox is currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like to become a part of your family today! The adoption fee of $125 EACH will benefit other CPR rescue animals.

For additional pictures/videos on our website, please copy/paste this link in your browser:
https://www.chicagopetrescue.org/cats.html#Nox

Current Location: PetSmart, Village Crossing on Touhy Ave, Skokie
