Nox's Story

Nox came to the HSWA Cat Adoption Center after being abandoned at an apartment complex. A good person took great care of her, and had her spayed, however, she could not bring her into her apartment as she already had two cats. She made sure Nox always had food and water and a place to sleep, but, Nox was not welcomed by the neighbors.
When she came to the Adoption Center, she was a hot mess! She did not want anyone to pet her and she did not like the other cats, at all!
While she has gotten much better, and actually seeks out human companionship, she is very untrusting of humans, which leads us to believe that she was abused in the past.
Nox will need a home without children, and would probably do best as an only cat (we are not sure if she has been around dogs).
This beautiful girl really wants to be somone's lap cat, but will need a patient, understanding human to be her person.
