Nova's Story

Ms. Nova is looking for a quiet loving home to call her own and a new lap to warm. Nova is a little stand offish at first but comes around and was a very loyal and loving cat to her previous owner. Her original owner unfortunately had to go into hospice care and Nova became displaced. Since then, she has seen unfamiliar places and many other cats who she isn’t very fond of and is very much looking forward to finding a laid back forever home!

Whiskers Rescue AR's Adoption Policy

We have an application and interview the candidates. We want our cats to go to a stable home and be both loved and safe. We are willing to work with our adopters to help set them up for success with things such as an explanation of medical needs, teaching skills needed for owning a cat, providing advice on introducing a new cat to a multi-cat home, and others. We look for someone who will give our cats a second chance and in turn we hope our cats will change their life.

Our Mission

Whiskers Rescue AR serves all felines in Northwest Arkansas who need a second chance, a helping hand, and a warm heart, by finding permanent homes for those who have been found, abandoned, rescued, and surrendered. We believe that no matter the circumstance all cats deserve to be healthy, safe, happy, and loved.
