Nova's Story

ABOUT NOVA

Meet Nova, our one-of-a-kind kitty! This kooky cat came to HAP as a stray, so we aren't sure what happened to her to make her act the way she does! She had a rough transitional period with us, clearly very unhappy in the shelter, so we decided to give her a break and send her to one of our amazing fosters. While in foster, she was still a sassy girl, but she opened up tremendously! She became affectionate and playful, relaxed and comfortable! Now she seeks out attention from her human friends, though she can still get a little overwhelmed and nippy! Luckily she moves a little slow, so her strikes are mostly easily to dodge!

*Nova doesn't get along with other cats, and we don't recommend she go to a home with dogs or children, as she can be sassy.

*If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
