Meet Noriene

Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin' volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. The application process requires pre-adoption applications, references, and interviews with you and those listed on your application in order to ensure a successful placement. If you are interested in learning more about the pet listed, please complete an application at and a representative will be in touch!

Noriene came to DunRoamin' on June 19, 2023 from Kilburn where she had lived for most of her life. Her rescuers brought her for help as she was overweight and requires most, if not all, of her remaining teeth to be removed. She was born about June 22, 2014, so is an older lady.

Noriene has a luxating patella on her left side (this can be common in cats - it just means the kneecap can slip in and out of place, but they normally do very well). Her first visit with her new vet friend revealed that she was constipated, so she underwent medical intervention to help with this and is doing much better. She is now on a healthy, nutritious diet of Royal Canin Adult cat food. She is very affectionate, loving and talkative. She is grateful to have this new lease on life and thanks her rescuers for making it possible. Without them, who knows where she would be now?
