Nori's Story

Nori is a sweet, super independent, street smart cat who loves to spend time outdoors in all weathers. She loves the snow! And climbing trees, and exploring the city. She is a low maintenance cat for someone who does not want to deal with litter boxes -- she does her business outside, and knows how to use the "cat flap fever" cat door. She also self-regulates free-fed dry food and can be left alone easily with minimal check ins by a sitter if you need to take short weekend trips. She gets along with kids and is affectionate with everyone, but she does not like other cats, or dogs.

She is needing to be rehomed after 4 wonderful years with her cat dad because he got married to a woman who has a gentle, senior cat, and Nori refused to adapt to the new household. Nori ran away from home twice, adopting a new family in the neighborhood, but had trouble adjusting to their cat as well. We don't want her to wander the city in search of a new home, so we would love to find a good fit for her where she can be the only cat and safely explore her neighborhood.

Nori is from Denver Cat Rescue

[Denver, CO]

Our Mission
Our mission is two-fold. We save kitties at high risk of euthanasia from states that lack the funding and resources to control, vet, and adopt out their cat population. Second, we bring these cats to Denver’s cat-loving community via the cat café.
