Nori's Story

Very playful. She follows me everywhere around the house. Likes to cuddle. She has some weird quirks where she sometimes spins in circles or walks circles around objects. The vet says she's healthy though. She's definitely still got some kitten energy at certain times of the day, but her favorite spot is the back of the couch or a lap. My mother found her in Santa Rosa on her doorstep. She took her to be checked for a chip but there was none. She called all the local shelters and posted all over social media with no luck. She couldn't keep a cat where she lives, so I took her in the hopes of finding her a good home. I have had her chipped and spayed. I don't know how old she is, I just picked a date since it was required. She gets along well with dogs. She's met about 4 or 5 since she's been with me (small and large)and she's good with all of them. She has only been around older kids (10+) that I know of, so not sure how she would be with young kids. She is interested in my older, male cat but he mostly ignores her. She does NOT like the female stray that hangs around our house and will spray when she sees her. I would say the best home would be with maybe a male cat or a dog so she has a friend. The vet says she's healthy, but she is a little 'odd' with her spinning. Because she spins in different directions, he says it's nothing to worry about (vs if she always spun in the same direction it could be a brain tumor or something, I guess). She has sprayed in my house when she sees the other female cat. That was a surprise to me given that she's female and spayed. Nori is currently living in San Jose, CA 95128 Please note:Nori is ok with dogs For more information & an online application go to https://www.peninsulacatworks.org/adoption/cat.php?id=2266&ts=1775199637&src=rg
