Nori's Story

Nori is a lovable calico kitten with a gentle heart. Playful, adventurous, and curious, she's just as vocal as her brother when it's feeding time. She adores curling up for naps in your lap and is happiest soaking up all the cuddles. In her foster home, Nori was good with small dogs, but unsure about big dogs. Her best friend is her brother Nalu and she loves to play chase and cuddle with him. If they can't find each other, they will cry out until they are reunited. Naru and Nori are an adorable package deal who can't wait to bring all the fun and cuddles to their new home!

Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy

CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens).
