Nora's Story

Nora is a precious girl who was caught in a trap during a TNR session. We knew she had had babies recently and after almost 12 hours, we found 5 newborns inside the flooring insulation in an abandoned trailer house. We had to cut into the floor to get them out and reunite them with Nora. Sadly, all but one passed away within days.

As a result, we gave Nora 3 separate orphan kittens to raise over a period of several months and she was the most gentle and welcoming momma to them all.

Nora is a love like no other. She rubs on her cage door and talks to us whenever anyone enters the room. She absolutely loves being held and petted and doesn't seem phased by dogs or other cats. She could go to just about any home. She does sometimes get nervous when we are out and about but as long as a human she knows if nearby, she settles right down.

The second picture is her at a recent fundraising event where she and a puppy curled up on my lap together and took a little snooze at our local farm and ranch store. ?

This girl has spent several years on the streets fending for herself and deserves a warm, loving home of her own. Critters Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We greatly appreciate emails sent directly to our email address: crittersincorporated@gmail.com rather that sending a "Petfinder Adoption Inquiry" which we cannot directly reply to. Our feline and canine adoption application can be downloaded from our website www.crittersinc.org homepage and then printed, completed and signed, and mailed to Critters Inc. PO Box 436, Guernsey, WY 82214. Thank you! We are a home-based rescue that relies on an application process, interview, and meet and greet at the potential adopter's home. If an adopter is interested in a specific animal, that critter, along with several others that we think may be a good fit, will be brought to the meet and greet. If all is approved, the animal will be delivered to your home and adoption paperwork will be completed at that time. We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Instead, we choose the home that we feel is best suited to that specific animal's needs. We welcome applicants from all over the US and will find a way to get the animal to you if the match is meant to be! =)
