Nomad's Story

Adoption fee $20. What a lover! Nomad is a charming, friendly fellow who loves to meet new people. I had to take his picture when he was in his cage because when I took him out all he wanted was to be in my arms. He can’t get enough loving! As a result, the picture does not do him justice—he really is quite a handsome boy! Nomad can sometimes get overexcited when you play with him or give him a good petting session and he will sometimes get a little mouthy when you try to stop. He doesn’t hurt you but for this reason we think he would be best suited for a home without very small children or toddlers. This may very well pass once he is out of his cage and back in a home where he can get more attention than we are able to give him. He is one of our friendliest cats and has totally charmed everybody at the shelter, quickly becoming a big favorite around here. Nomad is only three years old so he still enjoys batting around toy mice and throwing them up in the air, stalking flashlight beams, and leaping after peacock feathers. He loves being with people and getting pets, and we think he would really be fun to live with. If you are looking for friendly cat who is very cute and loads of fun, you need to meet Nomad. I bet you’re going to want to take him home.

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please go to our website (cchswi.org) where you can fill out an application online. A staff member will be in touch with you to explain the next steps for adoption.
