Noir's Story

Meet Noir, a 10-month-old petite powerhouse who was born with paralyzed back legs and has never let that stop her. This tiny girl gets full zoomies, tears across the floor at an impressive speed, and has opinions about the view from up high (she's currently building her upper body strength and practicing climbing, so consider yourself warned). She's a fierce little thing with an equally sweet side: she loves Churu treats, goes wild for string toys, and will flop onto her back without warning to demand belly rubs. Her small size is actually one of her greatest assets given her disability, and watching her navigate the world with pure determination is truly inspiring.

Noir does come with some special care needs, and she deserves a family ready to embrace them wholeheartedly. Because of her disability, Noir is incontinent - but she and her foster family have worked out a great system! She is currently practicing wearing diapers and handling it like a champ, and her setup is complemented by pee pads for extra coverage and ease. The good news: her digestion is completely healthy, so managing her incontinence has become straightforward and predictable. Outside of her mobility and incontinence needs, Noir is a thriving, healthy girl, eating well and full of personality in every other way that counts.

Noir is also a social butterfly who has already won over her foster family's notoriously picky resident cats (who are twice her size) which is no small feat. She's looking for a patient, loving home with people ready to support her on her journey: someone who will cheer on her climbs, celebrate her zoomies, and melt every time she flops over for a belly rub. She's not looking for someone who sees her challenges first. She's looking for someone who sees her for who she truly is: a fierce, resilient, loving, sassy princess.

Apply to adopt at tenthlifecats.org/adopt.
