Noelle's Story

Christmas may have come and gone, but Noelle is the gift that gives all year long!

Calico cuties Noelle and her sister, Piper, were surrendered to EHS right before Christmas. Now in a loving foster home, these sweet kittens are being well cared for and properly socialized as they wait for their fur-ever home. Can’t spot the difference? Noelle has the brown stripe on her head.

ABOUT NOELLE
- In foster
- Fun fact: 99% of Calico cats are female.
- Not much is known about Noelle’s past and she was nervous about human contact when she arrived, even scampering away from the back-scratcher. Fast forward a few weeks and now she runs to her foster mom to greet her in the morning and has even started flipping over for belly rubs. Looks like love and care was the Christmas miracle Noelle needed.
- Noelle likes to be pet all over and gets along with the other foster and resident cats in the house.
- With a slow approach, she can be picked up. She is steadily becoming more comfortable with being handled as her foster family works daily to socialize her.
- Her foster mom describes her as “calm and mother-y,” always snuggling up to her sister and fellow foster kittens.
- Kittens have lots of energy and Noelle is no exception. To drain some of that energy, she enjoys playing with her sister and with wand toys.
- Noelle is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on core vaccinations.

NOELLE’S IDEAL HOME
- It is important that Noelle either go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat in residence, or be adopted with her sister Piper, or another compatible EHS cat.
- Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans.
- Given the fact that Noelle is only starting to enjoy human contact, a home without very small children would be best. Cat-savvy school-aged children will do just fine.

Will you be the one to welcome Noelle home for ALL the holidays? Book a meet and greet with her today and see why every day could feel like Christmas.

If you have any questions about Noelle or the adoption process, please contact cats@etobicokehumanesociety.com
