When the light shines on her, her orange becomes bright, and she has a cute orange ‘soul patch’ on her chin, light green eyes and a long tail. Her human Mom is ill and not able to care for Nixie, who is now living in North Hollywood with her Mom’s sister. Nixie has been through some changes but it has not gotten her down. She needs a “Cat experienced” family to help her adjust to a new home. Nixie is a beautiful girl with an attitude to match. She will need space at first to allow her to come to you and her zoomies are hilarious! Nixie has never climbed onto the kitchen counters but she loves to climb to the tops of doors! She used to play checkers with her Mom which consisted of her lining them up on the edge of the table and her knocking them off one by one! Nixie needs to be the only Cat in the home and will not do well with young children. Teens will need to give her time to warm up. Once that happens, she loves to cuddle as you can see from the photos. Nixie hates to have her nails clipped, so no mani/pedis, please!
