Nitro's Story

Nitro has been attending out True Taming Academy. He arrived as a feral but he has been studying and taking cues from his feline friends aka our loving, confident cats. He is showing more relaxed posture and coming out more every day while humans are around. It is a slow process and we put no time frame on this, as cats in our program will have as long as they need to come around. For some it can be days, for others, months. Nitro is caving on becoming domesticated....so, so close. If you are interested in working with any of our feral cats, or behaviorally challenged cats, please fill out a volunteer form at truerescue.org/volunteer. If you are interested as an adopter, just fill out the application at truerescue.org/adoptable-pets or contact us for further question.

True Rescue's Adoption Policy

In order to begin the adoption process, please visit truerescue.org/adoptable-pets, select the animals profile that you're interested in, and click the application link provided. This must be completed prior to scheduling a meet and greet. Once the application is reviewed by our Adoption Counselors, you will be contacted to take next steps. We do not adopt to anyone under 21 years of age. We require owner surrender if the Adoption Agreement is breached.
