Nina's Story
2-year-old Nina came to our shelter as a stray, and although she had a microchip, we could not reach her former owner. Nina has been understandably nervous since coming to the shelter and will need a patient adopter to help her acclimate.

It takes Nina a while to warm up to people and other cats, so we recommend she go to a home without children (or other pets) who might have trouble respecting her boundaries. However, once Nina warms up to you, she is a sweet, laidback lovebug who enjoys perching in the highest spot in the room and surveying her kingdom.

If you're interested in adopting nifty Nina, please email animalservices@greenbeltmd.gov or call 301-474-6124 for more information.
