Nimbus's Story

Fluffy as a cloud and fast as lightning, Nimbus is ready to float into your heart! This handsome young cat is looking for an experienced cat owner to take him home, where he will surely fill their days with excitement and affection. Nimbus is a high-energy cat who does well with other cats, and would benefit from a playmate who enjoys playing chase. His other favorite activities are climbing, hiding in cardboard boxes (waiting for the right moment to pounce, of course) and carrying around his crinkly ball toy. He would definitely love a cat wall with a nice window view, too!

Nimbus is housebroken and not territorial at all, so he’s a great cat to add to a multi-cat home. He has been fostered with an older, slower cat and a kitten and got along well with both. He is also outgoing and comfortable interacting with new people—he’s not a shy boy!

Nimbus needs an experienced owner because he is still learning to react calmly to unexpected touch, especially if he is otherwise on alert or understimulated. He sometimes likes to initiate cuddling and then changes his mind suddenly, so he will require patience and compassion from his new human. His most sensitive areas are his paws and belly. Due to his long fur, he needs frequent grooming.

For the above reasons he would not do well with very young children, but could be compatible with older children who can understand a cat’s boundaries.

Nimbus is estimated to be around 1-2 years old and has no known health problems. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and litter box trained.
