Niko's Story
Niko is a confident, curious young tabby who is often the first to step out and see what’s happening. With her slightly rounder face and expressive eyes, she approaches new people right away and happily asks for pets. She’s playful, social, and clearly enjoys being part of the action.

Rescued in late November from a feral colony in Hawthorne, Niko was believed to have been abandoned due to how friendly and easy she was to handle. While her foster initially described her as the calmer of the two, Niko has shown herself to be the more outgoing personality in the shelter and is often the first out of the kennel.

True to form for bonded siblings, Niko has had a few minor squabbles with her sister during transitions, which is normal and already improving as they settle in.

Niko is closely bonded with her sister Sparky and is hoping to be adopted together.
