NICKI

NICKI was found in a home with several other cats after her owner passed away. She has gone through a lot these past few of months. She got out when the rescuers opened the door, so she had to be trapped before she could be brought to the shelter. After her initial confusion, NICKI has found her mojo again! She loves attention and will come right up to you to get it. We have no idea how she feels about dogs or children, but she came from a household of cats. NICKI will swat at and hiss at the other cats in her room, if they try to crowd her. Since NICKI came from a house with too many cats, probably had to do this to compete with so many others for food and attention. <br/>NICKI seems fine with children old enough to understand "soft, gentle touch" and "no squeezing hugs". NICKI likes pets, and scritches, but is not a fan of being picked up. NICKI is cautious but curious and does not hide. She may enjoy some play time but will probably enjoy a sunny spot for a nap more. Children need to understand that she may be more of a snuggle buddy, than a playmate. She can be very sweet and cuddly. <br/><br/>NICKY has always shared the attention with numerous other cats. She just might like being in a home where she can get more love and attention.
