NICK's Story

Nick came in with his 9 siblings from a home that could no longer care for him and his siblings. Nick is the only black kitten of all the boys in his crew. He has a playful spirit as most kittens do and can't wait for you to visit him so he can sit next to his sister Noel and show you how he picks on her.

Kossuth County Tails of Hope Rescue's Adoption Policy

We hope you’ve found your newest family member at our shelter! Next you will fill out an adoption application. You can apply online! If your application is approved, we will arrange for you and your new family member to unite fur-ever! We require adopters to fill out an online application. Once that is submitted our adoption coordinator does social checks, home checks, financial checks and reference checks to determine if the adopter meets qualifications. If an adopter rents their home they are required to provide proof of approval for animals from their landlord.

Our mission is to provide sanctuary and shelter for unwanted, lost and neglected animals; to promote the humane care and treatment of all animals through education and to actively advocate pet population control.
