He’s the kind of cat who wants to be part of everything you do—especially if you’re heading into the kitchen, where he happily plays the role of your “little helper.”<br/><br/>This curious boy loves to explore and investigate his surroundings. He’ll check out cabinets if given the chance and will try to follow you through doors, so he’ll keep you on your toes in the best way. Despite his adventurous spirit, Nicholas is respectful—he hasn’t shown any interest in knocking things over.<br/><br/>Nicholas gets along well with other cats and is comfortable around children, however, we wouldn't say he loves the kiddos. Found as a stray, his history is unknown. He wasn’t bothered at all by a visiting 5-year-old and calmly mingled with guests over the holidays. While he may not always seek out affection, he enjoys being near his people and will occasionally curl up in your lap for a cozy nap.<br/><br/>Playful, confident, and full of personality, Nicholas especially loves fish-flavored treats and meals. Affectionately nicknamed “Little Saint Nick,” he’s a delightful companion who brings curiosity and charm wherever he goes.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a fun, social cat who will keep you company and add a little adventure to your home, Nicholas might be your perfect match.<br/><br/>You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash).<br/><br/>NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility. <br/><br/>Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved.
