Nicholas's Story

From Nicholas' foster Mom, Lynn:

This incredibly handsome floof is Nicholas. Now, this fellow had a very rough start in life. He was rescued along with his siblings at about four months old, and was incredibly terrified of humans. His brother and sister quickly warmed up and have found their forever home with a loving family, but we worried that this guy was not going to become socialized.

It took lots of time, patience and treats, but one day, Nicholas dropped his defenses and decided to extend his trust. He has become an incredibly affectionate and sweet companion and is looking for his forever home.

Nicholas will need a quiet home and someone who is willing to take the time to let him open his heart to you. He has made friends with other cats in his foster home, so if you have a friendly cat that needs a buddy, Nicholas will most likely warm up to them, though he probably would not appreciate a canine companion. He loves to play and is very diligent about keeping his luxurious fur in pristine condition.

Nicholas will need a very special person to love, but trust us, the bond you will forge with him is so worth it!

$100 adoption fee per cat.

Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
