Newt's Story
Birthday: October 6, 2023

Say "pstpstpst" to Miss Newt, a former street cat that came to humans for help with her kittens!

She gave birth to two sweet kittens in a flower pot on a cold, rainy September evening just outside of Mechanicsburg. She was starving, and her kittens were underweight when they were brought into their foster home. Once she had food and a warm place to sleep, this street savvy girl turned into a professional biscuit maker -kneading floor, laps and even the air when she got scritches! Now that her kittens are independent, she can focus on her priorities in life, finding a cozy lap to nap on, defeating the laser beams and licking every scrap of food from her plate.

This smart girl is still improving her house manners and will occasionally still need some corrections, especially surrounding food (including people food). She will sniff out all the treats, fully litter trained, good with use of appropriate scratchers and not aggressive to humans. Newt would do best in a house with no other cats, she has not been introduced to dogs in her foster home. She has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date on her vaccinations and rabies shots. She has also been treated for worms and fleas. If you are looking for a snuggle companion for life look no further than Miss Newt!

Newt's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.

If you would like more information on Newt, please contact lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.

If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Please note: LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed. All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.
